ABOUT MARTA WANDERLUST

Marta is a gifted, passionate, and highly experienced teacher and student of Yoga, which she first discovered when 14 years old and right away felt the mysterious familiarity of the practice.

She began her professional training with a Jivamukti Yoga immersion, under the guidance of Yogeswari – one of the most senior teachers of the method.

Marta’s love for the practice of being, Yin Yoga, comes as a result of her training with Joshua Summers. Her studies with Joshua initiated her into the system of meridians and Traditional Chinese Medicine, helping to establish a deep understanding of the subtle body and its many pathways, and their interrelationship with the Yoga practice.

Marta has also undertaken numerous meditation retreats, including the Goenka Vipassana and the Mindfulness retreats organized by the London Buddhist Centre.

She has taught at diverse centers in Europe, Asia, and South America and spent a few years serving as a 200hr Yoga Teacher Training instructor at Sampoorna Yoga, in India.

Marta lives in Peru, sharing her practice with the guests of a variety of plant medicine healing centres, teaching occasional workshops and classes in the Sacred Valley, working with private students, and leading personal Yoga retreats internationally.

Over the last years, Marta has been studying with the plant medicines and traditions of Central and South America.

Her studies across diverse traditions devoted to understanding both our human physicality and the pathways to Spirit have led her to understand that all paths are complementary, and ultimately lead to the very same realisation of Unity.

MORE ABOUT AARON

Aaron Brunet won Masterchef NZ in 2013 with his creative and wholesome approach to food. He has a deep appreciation for the details of taste and texture that transform everyday foods into memorable experiences. Aaron brings a sense of delight and enthusiasm to his interactions with food, seeing every meal as an opportunity for playfulness and pleasure, as well as chance to connect with the present moment.

After years of writing recipes for national publications, holding cooking workshops and presenting food segments on television Aaron has had the opportunity to interact with a wide range of people and gain a greater understanding of how they engage with food in their lives. He is a published cookbook author, has given a TEDx talk on his Masterchef experience and been a keynote presenter at national food events.

His interests now lie in helping people love food that loves them back, finding true joy and pleasure in the daily experience of engaging with nature’s bounty.

Working with plant medicines has deepened his connection to the plant kingdom and strengthened his desire to help people enjoy the many benefits of eating in harmony with nature. Aaron is inspired by the idea that one of the most powerful things we can do to improve our health and care for our world is to eat more plants more often.

ABOUT SAN PEDRO

San Pedro (also known as Huachuma) is a cactus that has been used as a sacred plant medicine for at least 3,000 years in the Andes of Peru. It is a medicine that can be used to help us perceive our self-created barriers and limitations, and greatly aids us in opening and connecting with our hearts.

Each ceremony is a reunion with ourselves, Mother Nature and the Divine. It is a medicinal mirror that can help us see where we hold onto self-limiting beliefs and patterns in our lives, gently guiding us toward releasing that which no longer serves us.
